Adults of all ages and stages of life
We want you to feel connected and make Grace Valley Church a place you call “home." We know this only happens if you take a step beyond the Sunday morning worship service and get involved with a group of friends to walk with you. Grace Valley is more than the name of our church, it is one way to express the Gospel message. We want you to be in a group of trusted friends where the Grace of Jesus is shared in the valleys of life. If you’ve been in the valley, you know how important it is to have the support and love of friends. And we all know that we have valleys yet to walk through where we need that same Grace from others. Home groups meet in homes across the Midsouth.
**COVID-19 Update: Home Groups have been encouraged to continue meeting either via Zoom or safely in person during this time. We hope to resume existing groups and start new groups when people are comfortably meeting in person again.
Ages Birth-5th grade - Sundays at 10am
We strive to create a safe, clean, and fun place for your kids to learn the Bible and grow in their faith. Jesus elevated childlike faith for all who want to follow Him. GVC Kids ministry wants to invest in the childlike faith of your kids so they grow up with a strong foundation in God’s Word to help them be ready for anything.
*Currenlty we offer infants through preschool classes. Starting January 10th, we will have all Grace Valley Kids classes available during our servcies.
6th-12th grade students
During this important phase of life, we want to help students discover and embrace their God-given identity. We know this means students need a regular dose of God’s Word and a group of friends to go on the journey with them. Students today are facing more challenges to their faith, identity, and confidence than ever. GVC Youth ministry offers a strong and personal community for students to have fun, grow, and explore a faith they can call their own. Students are welcome regardless of what school they attend or how many followers they have on social media. Students need a place to belong where it’s safe to be themselves and grow.
GVC Youth is currently meeting on Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm in homes and led by our youth director, Jake Gaines (email@example.com). Students are always encouraged to attend our Sunday morning worship service at 10 am and to even get involved and serve in various ways, if interested.
Women of all ages
The Grace Valley Women’s ministry is designed to give women a place to break away from the pressures of work, family responsibilities, and the busy pace of life. GVC Women’s ministry hosts several events throughout the year from monthly in-home gatherings to our annual beach getaway. Each of these opportunities will help you build community among like-minded friends and help you take needed steps of faith and to know you are not on the journey alone.
Men of all ages
Men need a group of friends to help them juggle the different hats they wear at work, home, and in the community. Men need to be encouraged to cultivate the important relationships they have with spouse, children, friends, and God. Men need to play and be boys in a healthy and productive way. The GVC Men’s ministry seeks to offer opportunities to help men to fully engage in their journey of faith and embrace growth as an ongoing process in life.
