Holy Week

It is Holy Week 2023 at Grace Valley Church. Holy Week is an 8-day period where we reflect upon and celebrate the final week of Jesus’ earthly ministry nearly 2000 years ago. The week begins with Palm Sunday where Jesus rode into Jerusalem as the humble King—the two traits that identify Jesus’ life and ministry. After a week of teaching, performing miracles, challenging the religious establishment, His final meal, and prayer for his disciples then and now, and for Himself, Jesus is arrested and is humbly and brutally crucified on Friday. After a day of silence, doubt and dread, Sunday morning arrives and the Good News of Easter begins to spread…He is Risen!

Holy Week Schedule 2023

Palm Sunday, April 2 - Services at 9am & 10:45am

First Wednesday, April 5 - Church family potluck and prayer from 5:30-7pm (click here to register for the potluck)

Good Friday, April 7 - Services at 3:30pm & 5pm (No GVC Kids)

Easter Sunday, April 9 - Services at 9am & 10:45am (GVC Kids ministry available for elementary aged kids and younger. We are encouraging you to preregister your children. Please click here to sign them up today) 

On Easter, overflow parking with front door shuttle service is available at Ismaili Jamatkhana just 0.1mi east of GVC
