Holy Week 2023
It is Holy Week 2023 at Grace Valley Church. Holy Week is an 8-day period where we reflect upon and celebrate the final week of Jesus’ earthly ministry nearly 2000 years ago. The week begins with Palm Sunday where Jesus rode into Jerusalem as the humble King—the two traits that identify Jesus’ life and ministry. After a week of teaching, performing miracles, challenging the religious establishment, His final meal, and prayer for his disciples then and now, and for Himself, Jesus is arrested and is humbly and brutally crucified on Friday. After a day of silence, doubt and dread, Sunday morning arrives and the Good News of Easter begins to spread…He is Risen! Click here for the Holy Week schedule.
